Update 9/10

Hi Everyone!

Greetings from sunny/foggy/sunny/foggy San Francisco! I have been here for the last week, with my family, shooting another ‘World’s Funniest Commercials 2008.’ This is the third one I have co-hosted with my wife, Susan, and I think our best. It will air on TBS, Aug. 26th at 9pm. Hope you get a chance to see it. I have also been performing stand up comedy here at Cobb’s Comedy Club in North Beach this weekend. This has got to be one of my favorite comedy clubs and have been working this club since the early 1980’s. Due to a film shoot in New Zealand and another season of Weeds, it has been several months since I have been on stage so I am working off some of the rust and trying out some new material. I’m also excited to let you know I will be shooting my first one-hour, Stand Up Comedy Special this November at the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood, Ca. Hope some of you can make it….but not all of you, because it’s not a huge theater. (This is where I would typically put in one of those little smiley faces to let you know that was meant to be funny but I am working at breaking that habit.) Not to keep talking about myself but my new book, “Yes, You’re Pregnant But What About Me?” is now available in the bookstores and Amazon.com and is doing really well. I had a great time promoting it on all the talk shows and people keep contacting me on this site to tell me how much they enjoy it. Thanks for your emails!

Since I have finished shooting my fourth season on the Showtime series ‘Weeds,’ currently airing, I have managed to stay pretty busy. By the way, this season of Weeds is pretty intense. I mean the writers have taken it to a whole new level and a whole new town. Goodbye Majestic, hello Renmar! Lots more trouble to get into when you start off fresh in a new location.

I look forward to some really cool stand up gigs from now until the end of the year. Hope you can catch me when I come to your town. :) (Whoops…)
